Ever since we started the Citizens project the team at online store Dashluxe have been hugely supportive, not only with their media but also just being really friendly and encouraging in general. Being new kids on the block themselves they seem to really get the effort it requires to start up something new – especially in a time when everyone is trying to do the same thing.

Yesterday we hung out at their HQ and talked to their CEO Luke Watson. Luke walked us through their space (the former HQ for designer Wayne Cooper), gave us a quick lesson on the status of  retail in Australia, and shared stories from the boutique online store front line.

& because it’s just not the internet without a cat shot, check out this swanky stray we fed while hunting for street style in Paddington this morning.

In a stroke of sheer randomness we had a few tins of Whiskas in the car – it’s not like we just go around feeding homeless animals (although that’d be pretty nice).

You just don’t know the love of a cat until you’ve fed it some wet gelatinous Tasty Textures Beef & Kidney. Mmmm yummers.
