Anthea
There are minimalists and then there are maximalists and somewhere in between is Anthea (and this is sounding a little bit like something Jim Morrison would steal from Wililam Blake).
This is actually the second time we’ve spotted the very naturally gorgeous Anthea. She’s always rocking something a little bit quirky. This time it was her Topshop palazzo pants billowing majestically in the wind along Riley Street that had it going on.
Those who remember as far back to earlier this year would’ve noted that palazzo’s were a prodigious thing last spring. As in, ridiculously trendy in the trend department. Trends are nice. You know what’s really nice? Taking a hot button item and making it last longer than a few months, seamlessly mixing and matching it like it scored an invite to this season (and isn’t just awkwardly standing there not knowing anybody).
What we’re saying is, if it’s done well turning a trend from spring to winter can look pretty darn good (like Anthea).
