Morning Citizens. We stopped Michael for his matching green socks and studded shirt details. The buttoned up collar says tidy but the studs say dangerous. Tidydangerous.

Okay so that might be putting it melodramatically but I do think that tidydanger could be a nice au courant way to describe the menswear ideal of approachable and yet somehow on the verge of slightly ticked off. For an example, assess this guy’s legendary perma-furrowed brow, or any campaign featuring Paraskevas Boubourakas.

While tidydanger, the term, will never catch fire, its legacy will definitely live on within of fibres of the following items in a one-off section we’re calling… Things that appear somewhat polite but still invoke a small sense of rebellion.

These include: Biker cardigans (yes this is a real thing), checks, and this Givenchy shark print sweater.

Just as long as you wear them all with a slightly furrowed brow.

(Except for Michael who’s a natural rule breaker).
